The Rising ICON Scholarship, proudly sponsored by AZCREW (Arizona Commercial Real Estate Women) and Beth Jo Zeitzer, is an award of $5,000 aimed at supporting women who aspire to build or transition into a career in commercial real estate brokerage. This scholarship honors Beth Jo Zeitzer, a trailblazing leader in the industry, and seeks to encourage and empower the next generation of female brokers.
Scholarship Details
This scholarship is open to women who are either new college graduates or current professionals looking to transition into commercial real estate brokerage. AZCREW recognizes the importance of fostering talent and promoting diversity in commercial real estate and is dedicated to helping women succeed in this competitive field.
The $5,000 scholarship will provide financial assistance for education, licensing, professional development, or other related expenses to support the recipient’s journey into a brokerage role.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
Career Stage: Open to new college graduates or professionals who wish to transition into commercial real estate brokerage.
Location: Applicants must be located in Arizona or have a strong professional connection to the state.
Commitment: Applicants must demonstrate a passion for and commitment to starting a career in commercial real estate brokerage.
Application Process
Interested candidates should submit the following materials:
Resume: Including educational background and any relevant work experience.
Cover Letter: Explaining the applicant's interest in commercial real estate brokerage and how they plan to use the scholarship.
Two Letters of Recommendation: From academic or professional contacts who can speak to the applicant's potential in the field.
Essay: A 500-word essay on why the applicant is passionate about launching a career in commercial real estate and how they plan to make an impact in the industry.

The selection committee will review applications based on the following criteria:
Passion for Brokerage: Demonstrated interest in commercial real estate and a clear vision for building a career in brokerage.
Potential for Success: A record of academic or professional achievement that shows the applicant’s ability to succeed in the industry.
Commitment to Learning: Willingness to pursue further education, certifications, or licenses relevant to the commercial real estate field.
